The M712 is a lot of fun and offers semi-automatic/automatic shooting, sites adjustments and full metal body, but it eats through CO2 like nothing and occasionally get’s jammed.
The reloading sucks because you have to flip the mag around after 8 shots. target every time with air guns from brands like Winchester & Crosman. It shoots about 100 rounds total before running out. Which again seems to be related to the barrel length. claim for FPS (450) followed by the Schofield (445) Colt SAA (410) and then the ACE (340). The Gamo is a junky BB gun that’s light weight, shoots BBs and Pellets, and very fast. The Crosman get the most average good shots per CO2 (115-120) followed by the Ace (110-115), Colt SAA (100-105), and finally the Schofield (70-75). The BB guns I have at the moment is the Gamo P-430 and the Umarex Legends M712. I would even say it’s better to get the Glock 17 BB gun just because of the recoil and the ability to do a tear down of the BB gun to get a closer feel to practicing with the firearm model. The Glock is great for practicing firearm safety, dry firing, concealing, and target practice, but it’s not worth it if you’re just looking for a BB gun to use. It’s definitely accurate, just remember that squeezing the trigger will make you shoot below the target, so aim slightly above the target. Practically no recoil, especially because of the weight. The trigger pull is about the same as the real firearm model, same trigger lock too. I cant decide wether to get the UMAREX Smith & Wesson. It does feel very nice in the hands compare to the light weight airsoft guns that weighs next to nothing. This break barrel will get the job done and look good doing it. It weighs about the same as the real firearm with an empty magazine.
